early Hardstyle #earlyhardstyle
Early Hardstyle is a subgenre of electronic dance music emerging around 1999–2003 in the Netherlands, characterized by a 140–150 BPM tempo, heavy distortion, noisy "screech" synths, and the signature "reverse bass". Often called "oldschool hardstyle" or "original hardstyle," it evolved from Hard Trance and Hardcore, featuring a 4/4 rhythm that sits between the two, focusing on emotional, repetitive structures.
