Oni (鬼) are powerful, often malevolent, ogre-like demons or yōkai in Japanese folklore, typically depicted with horns, vibrant skin (red, blue, green), and immense strength. They wear tiger skins and wield iron clubs (kanabo), symbolizing destruction, though they can also be protective figures.
